Head to my outside links if you would like superb definitions of Natural Learning.

If, however, you are new to natural learning and are looking for an alternative to schooling models. Read on, because this place is for you.

You had a question or a desire and you took an action.

Your action has brought you here, this is an example of the first step of natural learning.  Tilde School is a place where we practice natural learning. Learning always starts with questions.

How did you learn to speak your first language?

Did you learn about syntax, conjugation or parts of speech?

You learned to speak first from listening, imitating and failing. Because you had something to say, you tried again. You then were exposed to more talking and to things or experiences you wanted to have.  You kept listening, you tried again to speak, you got feedback and you got better. Now you speak fluently.

Think what a huge opportunity you gained the first time you tried natural learning.

How often do you listen now?

How often do you take the risk of imitating?

How often do you let yourself fail?

What can we learn from letting ourselves try again?

This is the root of the natural learning we practice at Tilde School. We let, and require, ourselves to try again, and again and get better.

It is what we do at Tilde school, the not school.

I Invite you to keep clicking on and learn more about what I mean by NOT School, If you are a parent, I have this path for you.

If you are a potential student, this path is designed for you.  Tilde School does require that you are open to challenging your habits and asks you to think about where you are and what you want. In return for this requirement, you will have very real input in your learning.
