At Tilde School, we provide young minds with the tools they need to be successful, independent adults.
We guide students on a journey through self-exploration that enables them to take control of their own education.
We teach by modeling constructive behavior, curating the environment, fostering empathy, posing challenges, and providing clear, honest feedback.
We learn by doing. Your child will receive a unique and comprehensive education by working on projects of their own design. Our project-based approach is fundamentally different than traditional school. We don’t just learn ABOUT things, we learn by DOING.
Logistics
We serve no more than 4 students ages 10-17 with a wide range of ability, from those who have specific learning challenges , to ‘gifted’ students who can benefit from an educational environment that encourages exploration of their own interests.
Tilde School is NOT a SCHOOL. This is family based care with educational coaching.
Students may enroll in our comprehensive program, attending 2 or 3 days a week, Monday through Wednesday. Successful culmination of our program has your child admitted to community college, 4-year program, trade school, or receiving a business license for an entrepreneurial pursuit.
Students enrolled in public schools may also attend Tilde School one day a week to receive tutoring and support.
